You are a Dumb Sheep! How DARE You Question the 'Man of God'!!

How dare you question the man of God??!!

Her grammar is not perfect, but my word, this lady needs to be hired by the Southern Baptist Convention!!!

And what was the scriptural text she was preaching from?

She ALMOST told them the truth. She said that they were DUMB SHEEP. They are DUMB alright, but I doubt they are sheep. Goats maybe, but not sheep! God's sheep would have enough discernment to know that she is a perfect example of 2 Corinthians 11:15.
Only a dumb goat would listen to her unbiblical tantrum and smile, nod their heads, and shout "Amen!".
Satan's church will allow anything but the truth.

This is purely Satanic and just the opposite of what Jesus taught us here:
Matthew 20:25 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. 26“It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant,

And the apostle Peter also said that the elderly of a congregation are not to "rule" over God's heritage:

1st Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder,...

3...Neither as being in a position of authority over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

But hey, lets not let the Word of God get in the way of making money off of a bunch of stupid goats that like to dress up and play religious, while ignoring the Word of God all week long.
God gives people the type of leaders that they really want. These people do NOT want God's Word, so He sent this this instead.

More concerning then her words or tone is the response from the gullible, stupid sheep she was preaching to. People get what they deserve in their pastors. This is where all mainstream Christianity is headed. Its a cult. Time for true believers in God to come out of the "church" that our society has created. Thank you Jesus, for not saying those things, and for not speaking in such a manner. Amen.

Anonymous said...

Wow, where did she get that from? This is why some preachers are running all over and using the flock, because the flock don't think they are supposed to correct something the pastor is doing when they know it's wrong.

As long as we have a gullible, ignorant, dumbed-down culture, this brand of foolishness will continue.

As long as people refuse to heed the scriptures, this brand of snake oil salesman or saleswoman will continue.

She could also get a position working for the Federal Government, FOX News, T. D. Jakes, Creflo Dollar or Paige Patterson.

As a matter of fact, she would make a good Administrative Assistant to Peter Lumpkins at BPC.

Proof once again that "you can't fix stupid."

You know, we may have just met the first female pastor the SBC would endorse.

The very sad thing is that if and when Ronnie Floyd, Ed Young, Perry Noble, etc. see this video, they'll be overflowing with pure ecstasy and shouting "preach it sister!"

I think a really good spokesperson for the SBC would be Pinocchio.

Since 1979 the mantra has been when we get rid of ???? revival is going to break out.

Well it is 35 years later and the damage done by the leaders is irreparable. But don't you dare question them. They only tolerate yes men.

If you see anger, flaming eyes, insults, mocking and finger-pointing directed at the flock... you can be sure it's a false teacher. This kind of behavior is not from the Holy Spirit.

Ladies and Gentlemen - the infallible pastor.

He's going to come out and say a few things to you ignorant morons.

Hopefully you will be able to understand him.

iObvious charismatic. Their aim is to make one feel dumb, hopeless and helpless so they can control their sheep. They do not want them to know the truth, because the truth will set them free from this silliness. Looks like these people enjoy being controlled and label as dumb.

Great idea! I've never seen the long version of this. The parallels to the behavior of certain SBC megachurch pastors are striking.

Note the metamorphosis of the "sheep" from the 0:25 mark where he's smiling and nodding approvingly to 5 seconds later where the blindfold has slipped off.

0:50 - "Hey, I'm a published author!" LOL.

0:58 - See Amazon.com. "12 Used from $0.99; 138 New from $1.98."

1:07 - Reality has set in, and that guy is about to shake the dust off his feet in 3... 2... 1!

1:16 - The meltdown.

1:33 - Then the comeback. "I've got it! A new book!"

"That's it. We're gonna be rich! Filthy rich! Ha ha! Yesss!"

Why is it so easy to see the false teaching in the other guy's church, but we are blind to it in our own?

Anonymous said...

This is very popular traveling "Prophetess" preaching at the church of a very prominent pastor in the TV arena.

I'm not too fond of either of them. There are times when some of the things they say are very encouraging, but things get a little off when they talk about money obviously things like in this video.

Anonymous said...

Lots of comments. Who is praying for her and who still loves her .... just wondering, brothers and sisters in Christ.

Anonymous said...

Yeah I'm pretty sure that title "Prophetess" is kind of an end run around the Pauline prohibition against female preachers you see fairly regularly in charismatic circles. Yeah
they do everything the "preachers" do, but it's
ok because they're not preachers they're "prophetesses." I'm expressing no opinion on whether the Pauline prohibition should apply today, but kinda silly to think you can circumvent the issue with a word game like this. But more importantly, can you criticize a Prophetess? Not even if she's a false Prophetess?

Pure wickedness run a muck.
Amazing this woman is still given a platform considering her false teachings, false prophecies and personal wickedness as exposed in the news media.
Pity the lost sheep for listening to her lies and false teaching and following her into the pit. Pray for their souls.

Anonymous said...

This woman occupies the office of pastor because the blind are allowing her to do so. Our Scriptures clearly command that a woman is NOT allowed to teach over a man (being a woman, God's Word sits fine with me) so why are these people attending her church?

If no one attended because they read God's Word fully understanding the truth here, then she would be out of her mammon infested job and have to get a "real job."

If these people really love her teaching, then we are sorry, because they deserve a false preacher and teacher like her for they are too lazy to open up their Bibles and meditate upon God's precepts themselves. My church is full to overflowing with women such as these, desiring for the rest of us to follow their "visions, dreams, and prophetic words."

Funny thing though, when a follower of Jesus Christ chooses NOT to allow these women to influence you through their "extra Biblical revelations" ((one woman was told by a spirit to walk into the pastor's office and roar like a lion at him (she actually did this too)), then anger will swell up within their souls, and the end result......someone within this church actually ripped my name off of our church mailbox. Thankfully, they still left my husband's name on it.

The brainwashing, manipulation and control these people exhibit due to their elitist hyper-spirituality is wicked. Just evil. And when the rest of us lower level Christians do not place ourselves under these people's "revelations", it will only be a matter of time when you will be told, "How dare you question my visions, dreams, and God speaking to me because I have been a Christian longer than you!"

There are times when the church door leading out is more precious than the one coming in! Praise God for His truths in healing those who have been abused by "the church."

Really - This is all you got? You have spectacularly proven that there are those that do not belong behind a pulpit. Moreover, you make us appreciate the men that you "criticize." You posted a video that everyone agrees demonstrates your sites thesis. There are people that have charisma, but lack spiritual guidance.

Okay, we are done now. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and post something controversial. Please!

Perhaps I misinterpreted what you're saying, but it seems the #1 objection you have to this bizarre video is not her false teaching but the fact she's a woman. What if her teaching were theologically sound and her delivery toned down? There are plenty of men out there delivering the same false message, and we call them out because they're false teachers, not because of their sex.

Beth Moore is in Memphis right now and expected to draw around 10,000 people a night. I've (tried to) watched her on TV, and there were always a few men in the room. She's not my cup of tea as I find her theology about a mile wide and an inch deep, but is she "sinning" by allowing men to hear her teaching, or are the men sinning by "sitting under a female teacher"?

Anonymous said...

BBC,

I'm not taking a position on whether women should be teachers/preachers in the modern church, but your logic is all screwed up. It is possible to object to this woman on Biblical grounds because she is preaching a false doctrine AND she is female. Regardless of whether you believe that Paul's instruction to Timothy that women shouldn't be teachers/preachers in the church was intended to apply to all times, you can't deny that this is in the Bible, and it is certainly not unreasonable textually to conclude that it does apply today. And of course we don't call out male false teachers because they're male, because the Bible doesn't prohibit men from being preachers/teachers because they are male.

What about female missionaries like Lottie Moon? Are they sinning?

I don't think my logic is "all screwed up" at all. I said "#1 objection." That doesn't preclude other objections, just distinguishing between and weighing them. I don't know if I'm addressing the same person who wrote the 8:06 a.m. comment or not. That person DID express an opinion. If people would choose unique screen names we wouldn't have all this confusion.

Extending your logic, 11:26 a.m., women should not be allowed to even speak in church.

New BBC Open Forum said...

What about female missionaries like Lottie Moon? Are they sinning?

Apparently some people think so. So much that they sanitized history to maintain the SBC's prohibition against women "preaching."

BBC - It occurs to me that there are posters who have a little fun at your expense.

We know your position on women preachers.

It does not take much to get a rise out of you. 8:06 has your number and I bet you are the source of his entertainment. This is not his first barbeque with you either.

They are not all "Dumb" and will proceed to shove 1 Timothy 2:11 down your throat every time.

Anonymous said...

BBC - These guys are having a little fun with you.

I can almost hear their smug laugh when they put 1 Timothy 2:11 in the comment box. They know that they are going to draw a response.

8:06 knows how to get you fired up and this is not his first barbeque.

New BBC Open Forum said...

Nah, not "fired up" here. Watchdog knows my "fired up" tone, and that wasn't it. Just attempting to have a reasonable discussion with people (is it one, two... five?) I must have mistakenly thought were interested in the same. I can't keep up with that many anons though. Some are probably the same people who insist you have to sign your "REAL NAME" (TM) to something for it to be credible. If that's all it takes for them to get their jollies, so be it. I was laughing at them, the people who consider themselves "large and in charge" but who seem so threatened by "the weaker vessel." So I laughed; you say they laughed. The world needs more laughter!

Now, you'll excuse me for the night, please? We still have to drag our stubborn, disobedient son to the city gate so the elders can summarily stone him.

As a pastor I have often wondered how a pastor who believes that God can't or won't call a woman into the ministry interprets the early part of Acts which states,
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" Sons and daughters? Male and female? Prophesy or peach? And when sons and daughters prophesy are they to separate the men from the women and only allow the daughters to prophesy to a female only group. To be honest it has always confused me how my highly educated peers can teach and preach some of the things they do and actually become very popular men of God in doing so. I believe God is sovereign and can choose and call whomever He please. Thanks for the men and women who have heard the voice of God and said, here I'm I Lord!

Really? What does God's voice sound like? Does he speak English or French or Latin or Greek or Spanish...? Is his grammar good? How did he learn these man made languages? Has anyone ever recorded his voice so the rest of us can be amazed and listen. Does he sound like PeeWee Herman or Charleston Heston. Can you imagine if we could REALLY hear the voice of God?! But alas, it is just more nonsensical churchy cliché. And pastors can tell their congregations "God told me to tell you this." So now the invisible friend has vocal cords and makes sound waves that our ears can hear and he even learned and speaks English. Love it. All so biblical too. No wonder we have Mormons and JWs and Muslims...men who heard God talk. And we get mad at Ergun for making up things. The lady in the video can say God told her to preach this. And we have to believe it since we reason that God COULD talk to her right? Dumb Sheep is right.

I think she is preaching from the book of Totalitarianism. I am no longer in the church, but my still Christian friends and I still are amazed by this. In real world English, they are saying "Do not question ME !"

As for my Christian friends, most of them WILL question a HUMAN, it is their deity they fear and/or obye, but no human.

Anonymous said...

Not surprising that she is preaching this garbage in Rod Parsleys so called church. This is typical TBN nonsense that goes on every day on so called Christian tv. Check out her comments on people that use Bic pens. She supposedly uses a $5000 dollar pen to sigh her million dollar contracts and that is a quote. Stanley,Hunt,Merritt, and others who appear on these networks help support the likes of TBN,Daystar, and other charlatan tv networks. Like it or not folks it's all about the money.

Anonymous said...

I listened to the sermon and read the article. Sorry, it makes no sense to a person that does not speak in church clichés or believe in ghosts or an invisible friend. Some claim God or the Holy Spirit led them to leave their wife or job or kids or pastorate or fly planes into buildings or start an inquisition or go on crusades. Why all the gobbly gook to try and explain something so simple and understood by a child. God does not speak to us and neither does a "spirit" lead us. Believing that is the first step toward following a cult leader. You believe that God is speaking to him and through him. No. I ain't buyin it. But you go on believing that Charles Stanley explains it. He doesn't make any sense to those that aren't buying what he is selling. I can only wish that God would speak. He could tell on those pedophile priests and preachers and charlatans to warn us all. But alas, he doesn't. Sad.

Sounds pretty IFB to me. Up there screaming about her authority. That's what IFB is all about. And the audience loves it. Why? I think part of the answer is that it's entertainment. It's not boring. It's dramatic. It's the Sunday Show. It's strong and firey. People love that stuff. All those megachurch pastors didn't get to where they are by being quiet and humble.

To Anonymous August 29, 2014 at 3:29 PM,

In response to your query about whether or not God speaks to us, you said, about the Charles Stanley video and printed word, he(Charles Stanley) "doesn't make any sense to those that aren't buying what he is selling." First, Dr. Stanley is not "selling" anything. What the video and article are talking about is how we, as Christians, can tell when the Holy Spirit DOES speak to us. The key word is "Christian." We believe, through the message of the Bible, that God's Holy Spirit lives inside of us once we have trusted in Jesus Christ as being the Savior of the world. Anyone who decides to choose to believe in Jesus, through faith, immediately receives eternal life as promised by God Himself and is sealed by the Holy Spirit against any other eternal outcome. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him (by voluntary choice)will not perish (suffer eternal separation from God) but will have everlasting life (with Him in Heaven)---John 3:16. So, Anonymous, before any other dialogue can continue with you and your questioning, I have to ask you if you have ever decided to believe in Jesus for the eternal life He has promised? Your answer is critical in understanding anything at all about your line of questioning.
