Announcing the Mac Brunson Archive

Readers - at right you will see a link to the Mac Brunson Video Archive. As long as Mac continues his abusive preaching methods, the Watchdog will continue to archive the video/audio of the abuses. You can go to this site and see all the video clips, so long as you have Adobe Flash. More will be added in the future.

As I said in an earlier post this week, Mac knows full well the power of video presentations. He aired one for the Collins' in the middle of his sermon, and he produced a video to compel people to sign up for the Salvation Army drive and to show just how much he and Honey care for the poor.

So we have learned from Mac - when an important message needs to go forth, video is the way to go. So we will attempt to hold Mac accountable for his words and deeds by showcasing the more abusive aspects of his preaching ministry.

We have a child(young person) older than Trey, that is so turned off with the hypocrisy going on down at FBC, said young person refuses to go to church ANYWHERE. This young person grew up in FBC and was Saved under Dr. Lindsay's ministry, and was very active in S.S. and T.U.,Choir, etc. Rarely missed a service, growing up. Loved Dr. Lindsay. This is a terrible situation. As now young person (YP) is very angry at the treatment that has been given to our entire family, and unless God reaches this YP later in life, probably will never enter church of any kind again. We have done our best to instill Godliness in this child since birth. Now it is very hard for us to keep the separation between preachers, and leaders and the fact that Jesus is not part of this hypocrisy. So what has happened is the preacher and the church leaders have become a huge STUMBLING BLOCK, to my entire family. Said Young Person still has fond memories of Dr. Lindsay and still has love in the heart for him. But says he is dead now and this church is over. What's so sad is, I have heard this from several YP.s, that went to FBC. Our family will never go back, due to treatment received by pastors and many members that are trying to be somebody down there. I call it the church of the Stumbling Block Heads. By the way, how many people are getting SAVED there now? Said, Young Person says they are SAVED, but wants nothing to do with church or preachers. YP understands that Jesus is not the church and that Jesus probably doesn't approve of situations down there either. Nevertheless, nothing changes and leadership continues on. What a legacy. Dr. Lindsay would be appalled. This would never have happened under his watch.

To me, Anon 10:26 am comment proves once again, that WD is not the source of problems at fbcjax. All WD is doing is shining the light on the problem.

People questioning WD, are claiming that if WD did not exist, then everything would be fine.

I beg to disagree.

Anon 10:26

I am so very sorry to read about your negative and harmful experiences you and your family has been subjected to at FBCJax. I sincerely pray that your family will find a church family that will love you in the name of Jesus and appreciate all of you, as you are part of His Kingdom. It would be difficult not to be bitter, but you are worthy of so much more. I do not know the particulars in your case but hope by your remarks someone on the administrative and decision making level would recognize there definitely is something very wrong at the church. Turning people away from God and the church is the opposite of what is expected of those in leadership.

I will pray for you and especially your YP. Blessings to you.

More people like Anon.10:26 need to step forward to put a stop to the rushing wind that is blowing through FBC with the potential of becoming a full-blown, and destructive storm. They need to step up before others feel and act the way this family has and left the church.

Or, are the folks that still remember the love, patience, caring and understand by pastors of the past being targeted as "dead weight," and "good radiance" also?

Some deep soul-searching and much pray needs to be lifted to The Almighty, and actions taken to honor his will, not mans.

Leadership, accountability is all encompassing.
